Axel Schorn serves on the DSB Board as the representative of WM Gruppe, where he is the Head of Standardisation at WM Datenservice.

WM Datenservice is the National Numbering Agency (NNA) for Germany, one of the largest global issuers of Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs), as well as one of the founders and shareholders of the DSB. Axel’s department focuses on working with the relevant standards organizations such as ANNA, GLEIF, DIN and ISO on the development, issuance and maintenance of identifiers for the financial markets.

Before joining WM Datenservice in 2019, he worked for almost 20 years in product development, sales and management of market data, financial news and regulatory reporting services at Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt and Market News International in New York and London.
